Ohio University Provost Pam Benoit to visit campus

Ohio University Executive Vice President and Provost Pam Benoit will visit the Chillicothe Campus on Jan. 27 and will host an open forum at 3 p.m. in the Bennett Hall art gallery. All member of the OU-C campus community are invited to attend. “We appreciate the provost taking such an active interest in regional higher education and in the Chillicothe Campus, in particular. This visit follows her participation in the campus strategic planning session in August,” OU-C Dean Richard Bebee said. “The fact that she is willing to take time out of her busy schedule to travel to our campus speaks highly of her interest in the role that regional campuses play in making the Ohio University educational experience available to area residents in a manner that best meets their needs. Throughout her academic career, Provost Benoit has focused on academic quality and access, and these qualities certainly describe OU-C’s focus. I know that she is looking forward to having a conversation with campus members so that we can share with her our viewpoints and also learn from her perspective.”
