A reception will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Jan. 22 in conjunction with the current Faculty, and Staff Arts, Crafts and Hobbies Show in the Patricia Scott Art Gallery in Bennett Hall at Ohio University-Chillicothe.
The reception, which is sponsored by the campus’ Cultural Committee, is free and open to the public. The exhibit continues through Jan. 26.
The exhibit showcases the work of various members of the Chillicothe Campus community and includes approximately 30 pieces featuring an array of artistic and creative expression such as paintings, pencil sketches, prose, woodwork, both textured and standard photography, paper piecing and oak & clay works. The artworks capture images from the region and around the globe.
“We have many individuals on campus who have talents beyond what they use in the workplace, and this show offered an opportunity to display these talents,” said staff member Beth Tilley, who coordinated the event. “Visitors have been impressed by the quality of work.”
