Ceramics pieces by OU-C student, faculty members are accepted for show in Portsmouth

OU-C art student Whitney Bland and art professors Margaret McAdams and Dennis Deane had ceramics works accepted into the biennial juried art exhibition, “Cream of the Crop,” at the Southern Ohio Museum in Portsmouth. Jurors Mary Gray, director of the Ohio Arts Council’s Riffe Gallery, and Ken Emerick, Ohio Arts Council director of Individual Artists programs and services, chose 133 works by 77 artists from more than 300 works that were submitted. Professor McAdams received an Honorable Mention for “Contemplating a Foot Race” from her Aesop’s Fables series. The exhibition is on display through July 31.
