Information sessions are scheduled for Kitchen Collection training program

The Kitchen Collection, LLC, which is headquartered in Chillicothe, and Ohio University-Chillicothe are forming a partnership to establish a training program to provide paid career opportunities for OU-C students. The training positions will begin in July and will provide hands-on exposure to various aspects of the company such as marketing, sales, human resources, distribution and procurement.

The training program is open to students of all academic majors and is especially relevant to individuals studying for business-related and human resources careers. A specific area will be identified for each participant’s career development, based on interest and skills.

Targeted individuals will include approximately 4 or 5 recent OU-C graduates and/or students who are pursuing bachelor’s degrees.

Information sessions will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on May 22 in Bennett Hall room 110 and from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on May 23 in the Technology and Business Development Center room 147. Representatives of The Kitchen Collection and OU-C will be available at the information sessions to answer questions and provide insights.
