OU-C students can put knowledge to test, win gift certificate in Constitution Day contest

In celebration of Constitution Day on Sept. 17, OU-C students will have the opportunity to test their knowledge of this important document and win a $50 gift certificate from the campus bookstore and Hilltop Café.

A list of 10 questions concerning the Constitution will be available at the IT Information Desk in the Stevenson Center on Monday, Sept. 16. Students who are able to answer the questions correctly will have their answer sheets entered into a drawing for the gift certificates. To be eligible for the drawing, the completed answer sheets must be turned in at the IT Information desk by the close of the Stevenson Center on Sept. 17.

Students can find the information they need on the web site: http://www.archives.gov/exhibits/charters/constitution_transcript.html.

Constitution Day, or Citizenship Day, recognizes the adoption of the U.S. Constitution on the date the document was signed into law in 1787. The law establishing the holiday was passed in 2004, and the first official observance occurred the following year.
