New employees join campus as spring semester unfolds



Some individuals are joining the Chillicothe Campus as new employees or in new positions with the beginning of 2016 spring semester. Those individuals include:


 

Michelle Daniels, Lecturer of Nursing. Daniels is a registered nurse with medical and surgical nursing experience. She has been an obstetrical nurse with Berger Health System since 2011 and previously held a similar positon with Adena Regional Medical Center. Daniels has also held nursing position with Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro, Ross Correctional Institute and Mount Carmel Medical Center in Columbus. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University and licensure from Mount Carmel School of Nursing. Daniels is certified in obstetrics and childbirth education.




Daisy Fox, Lecturer of Nursing. Fox has been employed as a nurse in the critical patient care unit at Adena Regional Medical Center since 2011, where she is involved in the hospital’s critical care skills education and orientation of new nurses. Fox previously worked as an optician at Family Vision Care in Chillicothe. She is also an American Heart Association basic life support instructor. Fox earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Wright State University.










Amanda Hensley, Visiting Lecturer of Nursing. Hensley has served as a nurse navigator for the Patient Centered Medical Home at Adena Regional Medical Center since September 2015. She previously had a lead role with the health system’s care management team and was also a utilization review nurse, bed management coordinator and registered nurse for Adena. Hensley previously worked with Southern Ohio Medical Center and Highland District Hospital. She earned her associate degree in nursing from Southern State Community College as well as both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Grand Canyon University. Hensley has earned certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation from the American Heart Association.





Tammy Keith, Visiting Assistant Professor of Nursing. Keith has an extensive background in nursing education as both a faculty member and administrator. She has most recently served as associate nursing programs administrator at Central Ohio Technical College in Newark since 2014. Previously, she worked with the Hocking College associate degree nursing program for approximately 25 years as a faculty member, academic advisor, associate dean and dean of the program. She also has professional experience as a nursing supervisor and assistant director of nursing with Logan Health Care Center. Keith belongs to several professional organizations, such as Sigma Theta Tau honor society, the Ohio Organization of Practical Nurse Educators, Ohio Council of Associate Degree Nursing Education Administrators and the Ohio League for Nursing. Keith has earned licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). She earned her associate degree from Hocking College, her bachelor’s degree from Ohio University and her master’s degree from Wright State University. All degrees are in nursing.




Julie Rosenbauer, Administrative Services Associate in the Testing Center. Rosenbauer has served as Testing Center coordinator and administrative assistant in the Central Processing Center on campus since 2010. In these roles, she provided academic and administrative support to faculty members and students. She was previously a human resources administrator with Cooper Standard Automotive in Archbold, Ohio. Rosenbauer earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bowling Green State University

OUC welcomed me as a non traditional student at age 50. My degree opened many doors for me. One of the best lessons I learned was...how little I knew. Thank you Ohio University for a great education.
